Suspension, front bumper, maintenance, etc.

This is was one of the biggest rounds of updates on the land cruiser.

We installed a new suspension kit that gave the truck a 2.5″ lift and heavy duty springs for all the weight we are going to put on it.

Hyein came out to help out with the installation and got her hands dirty replacing the shocks.

Our ARB front bumper came in finally! Installation is very easy and should have take only 2 hours, but we spent an extra hour and a half drilling 2 freaking bolt holes that fix the bumper in place. Would have taken 10 minutes if we had a sharp drill bit.

People! USE PROPER TOOLS! Otherwise you are just wasting your precious time on this planet.

Splicing into the blinker lights was straightforward, we had to take out the stock blinker to access the wiring harness.

Now it looks like the truck is suffering from an identity crisis:

“Do I go and fuck up some kangaroos in the outback or do I go to the mall with the kids to get my nails done?”

The rear definitely needs some “nip and tuck”. Mike from Bump-It-Offroad is on it. Making us a sick rear bumper. Will install at the end of September.

A few days before we got the new tires and wheels (from ’07 Tacoma) installed and aligned.

information regarding my study and knowledge.

  2. Hmm is anyone else having problems with the pictures on this blog loading?

I’m trying to figure out if its a problem on my end or
if it’s the blog. Any responses would be greatly appreciated.
